Located in heart of the city of Douala, Akwa district, Clinic Dr. Boum officially opened her doors on July 21, 2012 with a ceremony presided by the Governor of the Littoral Region, the Government Delegate of Douala Urban Council, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, traditional and religious authorities and Prof Fritz Albert, Neurosurgeon - Germany, Head of Neurosurgery department at StadtKlinik Osnabrueck.

 This is part of a project extension that was set up on the outskirts of Douala city (PK13) in 2003 under the name: “CENTRE MEDICAL PARACELSUS”, and managed by Dr. BOUM Mélanie Née ESANGO, general practitioner.

After 23 years of specialized medical training abroad in the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. BOUM Guy Patrice MD. PhD sets up in the city of Douala the very first ever clinic highly specialized in Neurosurgery, Neurology and Neurotraumatology. 

 

Surgical specialties such as general and traumato-orthopaedic surgery, revolve around general medicine and practiced by dedicated specialists who respect the norms of medical ethics.

Our emergency systems are comprised of medicalized ambulances equipped with integrated operating theatres of international standard, demonstrating our commitment in the management of emergencies for individuals as well as for companies concerned about permanent health cover for their staff exposed to serious workplace accidents and hazards.

An operating theatre and hospital rooms are housed in a hygienically impeccable setting. A warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere and a high sense of responsibility are served by attentive, caring and well-trained staff.
